Electric Heater PAD-1

The NESTOUT Electric Heater PAD-1 is a USB-C heated pad built for the coldest part of a winter trip. A 60W heating element, about four times the output of a typical USB heating pad (7.5W to 15W), works with six-layer insulated construction to keep you warm in a camp chair or a sleeping bag. NESTOUT developed and tested it at 32°F (0°C), well below the 68°F (20°C) environment JIS testing standards call for. 

Power efficiency is built into the design. The PAD-1 connects over USB-C to any power station, power bank, or charger that supports USB Power Delivery at 20V/3A (60W) or higher. That connection loses less energy than an AC outlet, so on the same battery capacity the pad runs about twice as long as a conventional electric blanket. The power you already carry stretches much further on a cold night. 

Three heat settings, BOOST, and SLEEP modes cover everything from a quick warm-up to a full night in the bag. A soft fleece top, a spark-resistant back, and a removable, hand-washable cover handle life at camp. When it is time to move, the pad rolls up and secures, with the controller and cable stored in a pocket. 

Heating output, runtime, and comparison figures are based on NESTOUT internal testing. Results vary with conditions. 

More Heat, Built for Real Cold 

A 60W heating element delivers about four times the output of a typical USB heating pad, and six-layer insulation keeps that heat from escaping into the cold air around you. Developed and tested at 32°F (0°C), the PAD-1 is built for winter camping, with enough heat to warm you up on the coldest night of the trip. 

Twice the Warmth, Same Battery 

USB-C Power Delivery loses less energy than a typical AC connection, so the PAD-1 runs about twice as long as a conventional electric blanket on the same battery capacity. It works with NESTOUT power stations, power banks, and USB-C PD chargers rated 60W or higher, so the battery you already carry covers more of the trip. 

Warmth That Adjusts to You 

Three settings cover everyday comfort: Low (about 86°F), Mid (about 104°F), and High (about 122°F). BOOST runs at about 131°F for up to 20 minutes for a fast warm-up. SLEEP runs a 7.5-hour program that warms before bed, eases off while you sleep, and warms again before you wake. A 60, 120, or 240-minute shutoff timer means it never runs longer than you want. 

Packs Down, Keeps Up 

At about 27.6 by 17.7 inches, the pad fits a camping chair or a sleeping bag. An anti-slip contour pattern helps keep it from sliding off a seat or backrest. It rolls up and secures for the trip, with the remote controller and cable tucked into a pocket. 

Easy to Keep Clean 

A soft fleece top keeps things comfortable, and a spark-resistant TC polycotton back holds up around camp. The cover comes off to hand wash separately, so camp dirt and sweat never have to live on the pad itself. 

Straightforward and Protected 

Plug in a compatible power source, pick a setting on the remote, and you are warm. No app, no setup. Overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection work quietly in the background.

What power source do I need?

The PAD-1 needs a power station, power bank, or charger with a USB-C port that supports USB Power Delivery at 20V/3A (60W) or higher. If you use an AC wall charger, choose one rated 65W or higher for guaranteed operation. A power source is not included.

Will it work with my phone charger or a smaller power bank?

Most phone chargers and small power banks do not deliver 60W over USB-C, so the pad will not run properly on them. Check that your source lists USB PD output of 20V/3A (60W) or higher.

How long will it run on my battery?

Runtime depends on your battery capacity, heat setting, and conditions. In NESTOUT testing, the PAD-1 runs about twice as long as a conventional electric blanket on the same battery capacity, because USB-C Power Delivery loses less energy than an AC outlet.

How warm does it get?

Low runs at about 86°F (30°C), Mid at about 104°F (40°C), and High at about 122°F (50°C). BOOST runs at about 131°F (55°C) for up to 20 minutes. Temperatures are measured at 68°F (20°C) room temperature and vary with conditions.

What does SLEEP mode do?

SLEEP runs a 7.5-hour automatic program. It warms you before bed, lowers the temperature while you sleep, and warms you again before you wake.

Does it turn off automatically?

Yes. You can set a shutoff timer for 60, 120, or 240 minutes, and SLEEP mode ends on its own after 7.5 hours. Overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection are also built in.

Can I wash it?

The cover removes and can be hand washed separately. Do not wash the heating unit itself. See the instruction manual for full care guidance.

How cold can I use it?

The PAD-1 is rated for operating temperatures from 14°F to 104°F (-10°C to 40°C) and 20% to 60% humidity. NESTOUT developed and tested it at 32°F (0°C).

Can I use it in a sleeping bag?

Yes. At about 27.6 x 17.7 inches, it is sized for a camping chair or the inside of a sleeping bag, and SLEEP mode is designed for overnight use.
