This came for "free" as an add-on with some other NESTOUT kit. I just like the little thing. Clean design and stout engineering and manufacturing. The switch click reminds me of the early generation battery powered camp lanterns I grew up with and loved.

Only thing that would make this more awesome would be replacable diffusers. (Red, Green and Blue or something!) Would be an ideal way to say mark a string of hikers with lights behind them on a trail.

Actually a slow-strobe on/off mode to conserve battery would ALSO be wonderful. But for the price, just having a few replacement random color (plus red. Must have red) would be ideal.

I took this biking in the dark a few nights ago. Placed it on my pack behind me and it was providing a rather ideal back/glow which allowed me to preserve some night vision and also mark my presence well. One of these is going in every one of our car's along with the normal flashlights and headlamps.

This light is better than I expected! I love that it is adjustable, not just on or off. It came with a tripod that screws into the bottom of the battery pack so that it can stand on it's own. The tripod also has a loop to attach a carabiner to as well. I usually use this option and hang it in my tent. The light is bright enough for us to read and play card games in the tent at night and has a pleasant, comforting warmth to it. I've been using this product a couple of times a week for a few months now. I would definitely recommend this to others.

My wife and I live pretty much off grid. We use this thing pretty much every day. We are yet to be disappointed. It arrived in damaged packaging and I dropped it taking it out of the box. Thankfully, I have lightning fast reflexes. Which allowed me to violently kick the bastard higher into the air, It hit the tile floor so violently, that I was convinced I had broken it. If the damage it sustained in shipping hadn't already broken it. However neither of those things mattered because it's built like a tank. It sustained no damage... I left it in the rain overnight. Still no damage. I Have finally found something sturdy enough to survive my a
ADHD riddled stupidity. Stop procrastinating and buy the darned thing already. If I haven't broken it already you probably will never manage to do so.🤷‍♂️
