Charging times can vary based on sunlight conditions and the size of the connected power bank. On a clear, sunny day, the NESTOUT 2 Panel Solar Charger can typically charge:
• 5000mAh battery in ~2 hours and 50 minutes
• 10000mAh battery in ~4 hours and 45 minutes
• 15000mAh battery in ~7 hours and 15 minutes
• Standard smartphone in ~5 hours
For larger batteries or in partial sunlight, charging may take longer—so we always recommend topping off your gear before heading out.
This 2-panel solar charger is water-resistant and built to withstand light rain and splashes, making them ideal for outdoor use. However, the USB ports and internal components should be kept dry — avoid submerging the charger or exposing it to heavy, sustained moisture.
The built-in digital meter displays real-time power output, so you’ll see the wattage being generated when the charger is actively harvesting sunlight. For optimal charging, position the panels in direct sunlight and adjust the angle throughout the day as needed.
The 2 Panel Solar Charger is designed for lightweight travel and everyday outdoor use. It offers a compact, portable design while still delivering reliable charging power for phones, power banks, GPS units, and other small devices. Compared to the 4 panel version, it’s easier to pack and slightly faster to deploy, and ideal for shorter adventures or minimalist setups. If you need more power for multiple devices or longer trips, the 4 panel solar charger may be a better fit.
