Portable 3-in-1 carbon monoxide alarm for camping, vans, and outdoor safety.
CO Alarm 3-in-1
The NESTOUT CO Alarm is a portable carbon monoxide detector built specifically for outdoor environments. It detects CO generated by charcoal, camp stoves, generators, and fuel burning equipment and alerts you before levels become dangerous. Designed to help prevent CO poisoning inside tents, tarps, and vehicles, it pairs reliable detection with built in temperature and humidity readings. Three functions in a single compact unit.
The alarm uses a high performance, made in Japan sensor from Figaro Engineering Inc., one of the world leaders in gas sensor production. The sensor is engineered to remain stable across humidity changes and to resist false readings from non-CO gases. A built in self diagnosis function monitors sensor health and alerts you if a fault is detected.
IP54 dust and water resistant, backlit LCD, foldable rear stand, and USB-C rechargeable with approximately five days of continuous use per charge. Keep it topped off on longer trips with any NESTOUT power bank or power station.
Built around a Figaro Engineering sensor with ±10% accuracy across 0 to 999 ppm. Two tier alerts warn at caution (50 to 99 ppm sustained for 15+ minutes or 100+ ppm) and danger (200+ ppm) levels. Built in compensation for temperature, long term drift, and battery voltage keeps readings accurate as conditions change.
Most CO alarms fail silently. This one runs a self diagnostic at startup and every two hours of continuous operation, alerting you the moment something is wrong with the sensor.
CO detection, temperature (14°F to 122°F), and humidity (20% to 90% RH) in a single unit. Peak CO tracking captures the highest level reached during each detection cycle so you know exactly what happened while you were away from camp.
IP54 dust and water resistance. Backlit LCD stays readable in low light. Foldable rear stand for flexible placement on a table, gear shelf, or tent wall.
Approximately five days of continuous operation per charge. USB C charging works with any NESTOUT power station, power bank, or standard charger. Full charge in about 2.5 hours.
Always position above head height, near where you sleep or spend the most time. CO rises with warm combustion gases, and a detector placed too low may not alert you quickly enough. Use the foldable stand on an elevated surface or clip the built in hook to a tent ridge or gear loop. Never block the air inlet on the back of the unit.

This product is designed to help detect carbon monoxide. It does not prevent CO exposure, reduce CO levels, or replace proper ventilation. Always ensure adequate airflow when using stoves, lanterns, charcoal, generators, or any fuel burning equipment in enclosed spaces. The CO Alarm is one part of a broader safety practice, not a substitute for ventilation, responsible equipment use, or emergency preparedness. If the alarm sounds, evacuate immediately, ventilate the area, extinguish open flames, and contact emergency services if needed.
Not intended for long term monitoring beyond battery life, use in place of a fire alarm, industrial applications, or regulatory compliance.
Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless. It builds up fast in enclosed spaces when you run a stove, lantern, or generator inside a tent, tarp, or vehicle.
CO concentration, temperature, and humidity all displayed on a single backlit LCD. Peak CO tracking captures the highest reading during each detection cycle so you can review conditions even after levels drop. Monitor your environment at a glance without carrying three separate devices.
The foldable rear stand lets you place the alarm on a camp table, hang it from a gear loop, or prop it against a tent wall.
At just 3.1 oz, it packs into the included storage pouch and takes up less space than a deck of cards. USB C charging means you can top it off from any NESTOUT battery, power station, or standard charger.

The NESTOUT CO Alarm detects carbon monoxide (CO), a colorless, odorless gas produced by burning charcoal, propane, gasoline, wood, and other fuels. It does not detect carbon dioxide (CO2), smoke, or natural gas. CO is dangerous because you cannot see or smell it, and it can build up quickly in enclosed spaces like tents, tarps, and vehicles.
The alarm triggers at two levels. A caution alert activates when CO concentration stays between 50 and 99 ppm for more than 15 minutes, or when it reaches 100 ppm or above. A danger alert activates at 200 ppm or above.
What should I do if the alarm goes off?
Move to fresh air immediately. Ventilate the area. Extinguish open flames or shut down fuel burning equipment. Contact emergency services if anyone shows symptoms such as headache, dizziness, or nausea.
Where should I place it?
Always above head height, near where you sleep or spend the most time. CO rises with warm combustion gases, so placing the detector too low can delay detection. Use the foldable stand on a raised surface or hang it from the built in hook. Make sure the air inlet on the back is not blocked.
A full charge provides approximately five days of continuous operation. The unit charges via USB C in about 2.5 hours using a 5V/1A or higher charger, including any NESTOUT power bank or power station.
The CO Alarm is IP54 rated, which means it resists dust and splashes. It is not designed for submersion. Keep it sheltered from heavy rain or standing water.
The alarm automatically checks sensor health at startup and every two hours of continuous operation. If a fault is detected, it alerts you so you know the sensor needs attention rather than continuing to rely on a potentially compromised reading.
Yes. The alarm offers three volume levels: high, low, and mute. On mute, the LCD still displays CO readings and visual warnings, but audible alerts are silenced.
Yes. The unit displays real time temperature (14°F to 122°F) and humidity (20% to 90% RH) alongside CO readings. All three appear on the same backlit LCD.
Yes. The CO Alarm is designed for any enclosed or semi enclosed space where fuel burning equipment is in use, including vehicles, vans, RVs, tents, and tarps.
